State Highway 31 begins in the New Jersey State Capitol, Trenton. Route 31 ends where it intersects with Route 46 in Buttzville, New Jersey. Route 31 begins in Mercer County and passes through Hunterdon County on it's way to the Pequest River in Warren County. Route 31 is approximately fifty miles long from Trenton to Buttzville.
