In 2004 After drawing about 5,000 labyrinths, these pictures evolved. The first Labyrinth is my own design, the second Labyrinth is a Baltic Wheel. These four versions of LABYRINTHS may be skillfully painted on your location. WALK A LABYRINTH IF YOU DARE,

Here's my story: In 2004, I started drawing the Classic Cretan Labyrinth with the
cross and dots. Drawing instructions were found on the internet. It bothered me that the Cretan Labyrinth
doesn't have an exit. So I separated the bottom of the cross to create an exit from the center. In March of 2005,
I painted my first Baltic Labyrinth on a blue tarp. The drawing experiments continued and these Labyrinths evolved.
This is an easier way of drawing Labyrinths than found elsewhere on the internet.

The purpose of creating a 'Parkinglot Labyrinth' is for a festival, or a Fleamarket where a little fund raising might become possible. Each instance will decide what amount to charge for entry into the Labyrinth, maybe, twenty five cents? Another use; a shopping mall might have a couple Parking spaces available in an underutilized corner of their Parkinglot. A Labyrinth painted within the Parking spaces would offer their customers an inexpensive, entertaining, interesting passtime before of after they shop. WARNING: Parkinglots are created for use
by motor vehicles. Pedestrians entering
parkinglots are at risk of being hit by motor vehicles. Before any art or labyrinth is
drawn in a parkinglot, the artist should obtain PERMISSION IN WRITING FROM
A VERIFIABLE OWNER OF THAT PARKING LOT. |
