HUGH MOORE PARK is another historic place. This section of the Lehigh River Canal Network is frozen in the winter time. There-in is part of the reason the Railroads replaced the canal network as a main form of mass transportation. The picture below shows in the foreground CANAL LOCK #24 and in the background a railroad bridge crosses the Delaware River from Easton, Pennsylvania into Phillipsburg, New Jersey.
